Who is responsible for maintaining the

street curb, or the alley outside my

Although the City of Dallas has a right

landowner is responsible for maintaining
those areas under City Code. A
leaning or fallen tree, for example, is
the owner’s responsibility. The
homeowner is also responsible for his
side of the alley, to the centerline of
the alley.

the neighborhood. Are there any
homeowner association restrictions?
|
|
No. Membership in the association
is purely voluntary. However, the
City of Dallas does have zoning
restrictions which are of record,
including some pertaining to
construction setbacks. S |
